Marking the starting signal for its dissemination, on January 23rd the Spanish Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo, together with his Chief of Cabinet, Isabel Aymerich, met with Virginia Paloma of CESPYD, Josep Buades SJ and Armando Agüero of SJM to learn first-hand about the results of this report. The meeting concluded with the importance of Immigration Detention Centers (as long as they exist) having a psychological service to help both detainees and professionals cope with the challenging conditions affecting their mental health.
