CESPYD Doctoral Students Present Progress at the 2025 Summer School

As part of the summer school, our doctoral students presented the progress of their research. Wendy Tatiana Duque Moreno and Julia Jiménez Ceballos shared the advancements made within the MadresUP project. Andrés Ruiz Sánchez presented his work focused on the social determinants of mental health in the Nicaraguan migrant population in Costa Rica. Blanca Vera Moreno presented the development of her doctoral thesis, centered on the experience of migrant women in university settings, within the framework of a series of research projects. Meanwhile, Belén Soto-Ponce and Marina Giangiacomo presented the progress of the research projects POWER2ROMI and ANDAROMI, which focus on collaborative advocacy processes with Roma women and girls in different neighborhoods of Seville. These presentations reflect the commitment and thematic diversity that characterize the work of our research team.
