CESPYD participates in the IX Equality Meeting of the Seville City Council
On March 13th and 14th, CESPYD participated in the IX Equality Meeting, organized by the Seville City Council as part of the commemoration of March 8th, International Women’s Day.
Representing CESPYD, Blanca Vera Moreno, a PhD student, took part in the activities held during the event, where she shared our experience in research and action projects with a gender perspective. Additionally, she presented the work carried out on diversity and decoloniality from an academic perspective.
The meeting also served as a space for connection with other social entities, such as Fakali and Azaar, with whom activities were facilitated and the results of ongoing research and projects related to gender equality were shared.
Alongside CESPYD, other research groups from the Faculty of Psychology and other fields, such as the Experimental Psychology area, also participated. It was an opportunity to collectively reflect on the application of the gender perspective in various disciplines, including neuroscience.
Blanca Vera’s participation in this event reinforces CESPYD’s commitment to social justice, gender equity, and inclusion, promoting dialogue and collaboration between academia and social organizations.
