Abstract: ApartTogether is a collaboration between World Health Organization​ and a consortium of research centres led by Prof. Ilse Derluyn and Dr. An Verelst at Ghent University (Belgium) and Dr. Morten Skovdal at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). ​The online survey contains 30 questions that can be answered within 15 minutes using a mobile phone or other handheld devices or laptops. It uses a simple language and has been translated into 37 languages. The questions cover socio-demographic details, experiences of COVID-19 and preventative measures. It also asks about daily stressors and stigma, psychosocial well-being, as well as coping strategies. The survey ran from April 2020 and closed on 31st of October 2020. This report describes the main findings obtained globally in relation to the ways in which the COVID-19 has hit the lives of refugees and migrants. It draws on the perspectives of 30000 respondents who live in 170 countries. The report underlines that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a disproportionately hard impact on refugees and migrants and highlights the need of including them in inclusive policy responses.
