CESPYD welcomes Yuan Uy from Vanderbilt University

CESPYD is pleased to welcome Yuan Uy, a senior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Human and Organizational Development. Passionate about social impact and global development, Yuan is currently collaborating with Dr. Daniela Miranda Rojas on the ANDAROMI and RomaCare project, which aims to strengthen the Roma mother-daughter alliance through entrepreneurship in Andalusian Social Services.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in initiatives focused on education and economic empowerment as a fellow with the Clinton Global Initiative, Teach For America, and the United Nations Millennium Project.

During his time at CESPYD, Yuan will work on adapting entrepreneurship and mentorship endeavors into the project fieldwork and connecting organizations that support the Roma community in Seville and beyond, contributing to a lasting impact.
