Daniela Miranda participates in the XIV Professional Convention of COP Andalucía Occidental
On April 4th, our colleague Daniela Miranda, researcher at CESPYD (Center for Community Research and Action), participated as a speaker at the XIV Professional Convention of the Official College of Psychology of Western Andalusia, a landmark event in the field of professional psychology.
Under the theme “The Interrelationship Between Psychology and Artificial Intelligence”, the convention brought together professionals, researchers, and students to reflect on the challenges and opportunities that AI presents in the fields of mental health, wellbeing, and social intervention.
Daniela Miranda took part in the roundtable focused on the uses and risks of artificial intelligence in contexts of vulnerability, offering a critical perspective rooted in community psychology and human rights. In her talk, she emphasized how AI can reproduce and even amplify social inequalities, particularly for already marginalized populations such as migrants, Roma women, or people in situations of exclusion.
