From July 23rd to 25th, the city of Lisbon hosted the European Community Psychology Association (ECPA) Conference 2025, under the theme “Building Community Strength in Uncertain Times.” This international gathering brought together researchers, professionals, and activists to reflect on the crucial role of Community Psychology in a global context marked by social, political, and ecological crises.

Representing CESPYD were Professor Rocío Garrido and PhD candidate Blanca Vera, who also carried out her research stay linked to this event.

During the conference, we presented several workgroups, a workshop, and participated in lectures, strengthening our connections with the European Community Psychology network and expanding opportunities for collaborative and transformative work.

This event provided a unique opportunity to continue building collective, horizontal, and inclusive practices that allow us to envision and create more just futures.
