Tatiana Duque Undertakes a Research Stay at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga
Researcher Tatiana Duque is currently undertaking a three-month research stay at the TCP: Transdisciplinarity, Culture and Politics research group, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga. The stay is being carried out within the framework of the doctoral thesis “MadresUP:Empowering the Resilient Motherhood of Migrant Mothers for their Psychosocial Well-being”, a research project focused on motherhood experiences in contexts of mobility from a participatory action-research perspective.
During the stay, the doctoral researcher will carry out activities aimed at the comparative analysis of the project “Return Migration from Venezuela in Transnational Families: Women’s Narratives of Circular Migration between Colombia and Spain”, jointly conducted by the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and the Complutense University of Madrid. She will also deepen methodological approaches related to participatory, arts-based, and communicative methodologies applied to research with migrant women. The research stay will include methodological discussions with the host institution’s academic team, participation in seminars and collective reflection activities, and the presentation of doctoral research progress, with the aim of strengthening the methodological design and qualitative analysis of the project.
