Conferencia Online de Rubén Lasheras en el Marco del Programa de Doctorado en Psicología

On May 5, the online conference “AUKERA: A Socioeducational Project between Young Immigrants and University Students through Service-Learning” was held within the framework of the Psychology Doctoral Program at the University of Seville and with the support of CESPYD. The session was delivered by Rubén Lasheras, Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the Public University of Navarra and researcher at the I-COMMUNITAS Institute.

During the lecture, Lasheras presented the AUKERA Project, a socioeducational initiative developed through a Service-Learning methodology aimed at strengthening connections between young migrants and university students through supervised weekly sessions. He also shared reflections drawn from his academic and research trajectory on social inequalities, intercultural coexistence, migration, and youth social vulnerability, offering relevant insights for social intervention in contexts of diversity.
