Implementation Manual of the MadresUP Community-Based Intervention Programme

CESPYD makes available the MadresUP Implementation Manual, a practical guide for developing community-based interventions aimed at enhancing psychosocial well-being and empowering mothers in culturally diverse contexts.

The manual is based on the experience of the MadresUP programme and is tailored to different groups, including migrant, refugee and Roma mothers, allowing for adaptation to a wide range of social and cultural realities.

It includes:

  • Methodological guidelines and session structure
  • Participatory activities and practical exercises
  • Resources for implementation in diverse settings

The programme follows a community-based and participatory approach, centred on peer mentoring and mutual support, fostering trust, social connections and safe spaces for participants.

This is a flexible resource designed for use by professionals, organisations and communities.
